Unexpectedly Buying A Classic Ford Mustang

So I haven’t been able to write on my web site quite as much as I’d planned, on account of all the time I have been helping my old man with his super nutball midlife crisis. Okay, some would argue it isn’t as far gone as it might be. You see, the way he played it out was to get himself dressed up like the Fonz or something, and storm over to my place and casually inform me, in his jazziest tone of voice: “Get ready, boy, we are going out shopping for some classic Ford Mustang Sales. You heard that right, buddy, I’m all set to buy one.”

So next he & I were hopping around to all of those creepy vintage car places that you’re pretty much sure are mob-run, and I witness the dude made out a check within just a few minutes, for a very shiny classic Ford Mustang. It’s one hell of a machine. It had a great sound too.

I want to point out that I wrote that last sentence in a past tense. It sounded really nice until it became silent. Dad says that it’s a really easy problem and all he needs is the right part. The problem is, it is not as straightforward to locate classic Ford Mustang parts as it was over a million years ago, but my Dad tells me there’s a pretty sizable availability for them in spite of their age. From what I’m told the the best bet for finding parts for 1967 Mustangs is by way of internet auctions, because you can get them refurbished and occasionally even brand new. Not necessarily super-cheap, though… After all, they are ancient Ford Mustang parts.

I guess it could’ve been worse… He might have bought a harley.
